MapMyArt empowers young European artists by giving them visibility through a collaborative digital map that showcases their work. This platform allows them to feel supported in their artistic careers, boosting their confidence and professional growth through the positive use of digital technologies.
The project promotes the creation of collaborative networks among young people from different countries, encouraging cultural exchange and joint projects. The artistic co-living experience in a rural setting fosters meaningful connections and shared values such as equality, respect, and tolerance.
Through an immersive experience at ARTmosferas’ facilities, an artistic space in rural Spain, MapMyArt nurtures creativity by encouraging artistic entrepreneurship. The rural environment, far from urban centers, becomes a source of inspiration, proving that high-quality artistic projects are possible anywhere.
In a world shaped by technology and globalization, the project harnesses digital tools to strengthen artistic networks while preserving cultural identity. Each edition brings together new countries, maintaining the project’s essence and expanding its reach across Europe.
MISSION
MapMyArt is a European youth initiative that promotes artistic exchange, creativity, and collaboration through a growing digital network of young artists. By connecting participants from different countries, the project fosters cultural dialogue and visibility for emerging talents, showcased on an interactive digital map.
Through artistic co-living experiences in rural a environment, MapMyArt encourages the development of collaborative projects and creative expression across disciplines like music, visual arts, and performing arts.
WHO IS BEHIND
MapMyArt is a youth participation project co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, created by ARTmosfera a cultural non-profit association in the north of Spain, founded with the aim of bringing art and culture to rural areas, while also promoting values of equality and sustainability.
Committed to promoting performing arts, revitalizing rural areas, and creating new audiences—always guided by the principles of equality and non-discrimination—the association offers services such as event organization, production and distribution of performances, an artistic residence, training programs, workshops, and meetings.
